The Gasthof

We are a family business with regional roots and history: the foundations of our Gasthof are 700 years old – it was already a tavern when it was first mentioned in 1315. Where the historic Poststrasse used to pass and was a busy transhipment point for horses, you can now enjoy excellent food and drink: Gasthof Schwarz offers selected delicious regional cuisine and 28 modernized rooms for a relaxing stay.

Festive location for weddings, christenings, birthdays

In addition to our in-house butcher’s shop, we also offer a catering service that supplies parties and celebrations with tasty dishes and modern finger food. But those who prefer to celebrate with us are also very welcome in our large hall. We are happy to host your conferences, weddings, christenings and other festive occasions.

You will also find many popular leisure activities around our inn: Are you an enthusiastic hiker, skier, golfer or motorcyclist? Then our family business in the Inn-Salzach region in the immediate vicinity of Burghausen and Altötting, less than 60 km from Salzburg and 100 km from Munich, is the ideal starting point for your adventures! A little tip for all trade fair visitors: The A94 motorway leads directly from Altötting to Munich – you can be at Messe Riem in just under an hour! Of course, families with children and vacationers with dogs are also very welcome.
